Mobile Access Router - Accessories

As an Advanced Technology Partner for the Cisco Mobile Access Router Western DataCom provides the accessories to complete the Mobile Router solution. These components include AC/DC power supplies, DC power cables, antennas along with numerous other components. These various components can be included in bundled packages or purchased seperately.

AC/DC Power Supply

The AC/DC power supply provides an easy means of powering the Cisco Mobile Access Router, both 3230 and 3270 models, with sufficient wattage to maintain not only the base components but also any third party components. The AC/DC power supply has the proper connector to mate with the standard Mobile Access Router power input connector and a standard AC wall outlet.

DC Power Cable

The DC power cables provides a DC only connection the Cisco Mobile Access Router, both 3230 and 3270 models, and comes in a standard length of 6 feet. The DC cable has the proper connector to mate with the standard Mobile Access Router power input connector and a positive and negative (RED/BLACK) for connection to the DC source.

DC Power Cable with Automotive Lighter Adapter

The DC power cables provides a DC only connection the Cisco Mobile Access Router, both 3230 and 3270 models, and comes in a standard length of 6 feet. The DC cable has the proper connector to mate with the standard Mobile Access Router power input connector and a industry standard lighter adapter (includes 10A automotive fuse).

Single Locking Bracket

The single locking bracket is a custom bracket designed to secure a standard 3200 Rugged Enclosure. The bracket was designed to with vehicle applications in mind but could be used in any installation. The bracket provides a method of locking the enclosure in place and provides potection so that the bolts cannot be accessed without removing the enclosure from the bracket. Made from cold rolled steel and powder coated in the same color as the rugged enclosure the locking bracket can withstand the harshest installations. In addition the locking bracket provides mounting holes for additional components such as RF amplifiers, external modems, etc.

Double Locking Bracket

The double locking bracket is a custom bracket designed to secure an extended 3200 Rugged Enclosure (3270). The bracket was designed to with vehicle applications in mind but could be used in any installation. The bracket provides a method of locking the enclosure in place and provides potection so that the bolts cannot be accessed without removing the enclosure from the bracket. Made from cold rolled steel the bracket is powder coated in the same color as the rugged enclosure the locking bracket can withstand the harshest installations. In addition the locking bracket provides mounting holes for additional components such as RF amplifiers, external modems, etc.

WiFi Antennas

Although most applications require their own application specific antennas Western DataCom offers simple rubber duck antennas for the testing phases with the Mobile Access Router. These antennas utilize the proper connectors, RPTNC, to mate with all models of the MAR and provide an easy way to test wireless connectivity. These antennas can you used for both Access Point and Bridge testing and allow you to verify operation prior to deployment. 3dBi Omni directional 2.4GH or 4.9GHz "rubber duck" antenna.
