Guaranteed Spare Program

Western DataCom offers a Guaranteed Spare program for its products. The GSP consists of the following, Western DataCom will hold units in stock in the event that a product fails in the field. Upon failure Western DataCom will overnight a replacement unit to the customer. This replacement product would then be used as an interim replacement until the original product is repaired and returned to the customer. In the event the failed product cannot be repaired the customer keeps the GSP unit(s) and a new unit is returned to the GSP inventory.

A GSP can be purchased for any product of Western DataCom. The only criteria placed on the purchase is that is must be purchased during the first 12-months of the factory warranty. GSP's purchased outside of the warranty period must be reviewed and approved by Western DataCom. There is also a price increase for purchase outside of the warranty period. GSP's can be renewed for up to a maximum of five (5) years.
